Car Shipping to Cyprus | Importing a car to Cyprus
Bringing your vehicle from the U.K into Cyprus is a straight forward process. Firstly we would need a copy of the log book for the vehicle sent to us.
We will then fax a copy over to our Limassol shipping agent, who will then book your vehicle on the next available vessel.
We will inform you of a date and you can choose whether to take the vehicle to Bristol or Southampton port where your car will be loaded and shipped to our Limassol port.
Once your vehicle arrives here in Cyprus, we at Peter Morton Removals Ltd will be immediately notified and make arrangements to take you, the registered vehicle owner, along with your passport and the original log book to our clearing agents in Limassol in order to collect your car.
Once the clearing procedure has been completed in Limassol you will be free to drive your car away with a 3 month temporary import slip.

Taking your vehicle to the U.K from Cyprus, using our roll on roll off Car Shipping Cyprus service is simple!
Firstly you would need to give us a copy of your log book, which we will then fax to our shipping agents in Limassol, who will then inform us if the vehicle is clear of any finance and is able to leave Cyprus.
On the date agreed to send the vehicle, you the registered owner will come to our offices by 8.30am, ensuring you have the original log book and your passport, you will follow Peter to our clearing agent in Limassol.
When in Limassol you will hand over the relevant documents to our agent, who will prepare all necessary paperwork and return it back to you. Once done you will then take your vehicle to our secure area on the port and go with Peter to customs, where our agent will be waiting for you.
Your paperwork will then be stamped and you will need to sign it in their presence and the procedure will then be complete.
Peter will then take you back home or where you need to go.
Your vehicle will then be loaded onto the next vessel and delivered to a port of your choice in the U.K either Southampton or Bristol.
Once your vehicle arrives at the requested port, you will receive a telephone call from our U.K agents who will make the necessary arrangements with you to go and collect your vehicle.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You must ensure that you have all the relevant paperwork for your vehicle here in Cyprus before you go to the port, especially if the vehicle is duty free. Alternative Methods of Car Shipping from Cyprus
In order to quote you for importing your car we would need to know the make and model of car, where car is to be collected from with postcode if possible, see options available below:
To send RORO(Car Ferry) from either Bristol or Southampton. You take Car to Ferry, when it arrives in Cyprus we would take you to Limassol Port for customs clearance. You would then collect car. The car must be empty as they are not secured
Deliver car to our UK Partners Depot in Somerset, it then is loaded into 40ft shared container for onward shipping to our Depot in Cyprus. We would take you to Limassol Port for customs clearance, once container has been delivered to our Depot and unloaded we would arrange for car to be delivered or you to collect. With this option you can pack the car with goods as long as driver’s seat is empty. We would need an Inventory of goods for customs purposes.
Car can be collected from your specified address, delivered to our UK Partners Depot in Somerset; it then is loaded into 40ft shared container for onward shipping to our Depot in Cyprus. We would take you to Limassol Port for customs clearance, once container has been delivered to our Depot and unloaded we would arrange for car to be delivered or you to collect. With this option you can pack the car with goods as long as driver’s seat is empty. We would need an Inventory of goods for customs purposes. We would require an address to be able to quote

We would require scanned copies of your passport and V5 prior to collection. . Car must be empty of fuel prior to shipping
You would need to be in Cyprus when the car arrives and have all original documents in your name for customs, V5, passport and your driving Licence as we will need them when we take you to customs. You will be responsible for any duties and this is not included in the price of the quote.
You would need to take out Marine Insurance when you ship your car, we can offer Restricted Cover at a premium of 1.5% of total price of your car which has a minimum payment of €75 or All Risks Insurance with a premium of 2.5% of total value of your car with min payment of €100.
