REMOVALS COMPANY
STATE-OF-THE-ART STORAGE FACILITY IN CYPRUS
TOO MUCH STUFF AT HOME? PLANNING A REFURBISHMENT? MOVING HOUSE AND NOWHERE TO GO? EXCESS OFFICE PAPERS AND EQUIPMENT? STORE IT.
Leading in Storage and Removals – These days, there are so many reasons why we might need safe storage in Cyprus. Essentially, it is somewhere that you can store possessions that are not needed on a daily basis. Are you moving house and need a reliable and safe storage facility in between properties? Are you struggling to fit everything into your current home? Are you refurbishing a property and want the contents out of the way? Are you renting a house and need to store your excess furniture? Often, commercial companies need to store unwanted equipment, files and papers which have to be retained, by law, for several years. Whatever your situation might be, it is always good to know a secure and safe storage facility in Cyprus that can help. We spoke to Peter Morton from one of the leading removal and storage companies in Cyprus – for an expert’s view on safe storage solutions for homes and businesses across the island.
When considering where to place our goods, it is essential to consider several factors to ensure the long-term safety of these items. In the case of storing your possessions in the course of a move, you want to be very sure that all items are safe and well-protected.
CLIMATE-CONTROLLED STORAGE WITH THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF SECURITY
The largest and safest storage warehouse in Cyprus is located just off the highway on the edge of Paphos at Peter Morton Removals. The warehouse sits on a massive 7,500 square metre site. Due to increased demand from their clients, they have made an enormous investment to build a dedicated storage space at their facility, offering the highest level of security in the Cyprus storage industry.
Peter Morton Removals has thought of everything in terms of environment and security at the warehouse. The whole facility is covered by a state-of-the-art security system which is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Three free-running guard dogs also patrol the premises. The warehouse is climate-controlled to ensure that it does not get too hot. Another aspect for the protection of all the crates is the full fire system which, in the unlikely event of a fire, would kick into action to protect everything. These are the main things that you need to consider when putting any items into storage.
- Transportation
- High Security
- Climate Control
- Fire Protection
WOODEN STORAGE CRATES APPROVED BY BAR
After a lot of research and development, Peter Morton Removals decided that the best way to offer storage to their customers was in wooden crates, which are 250 cubic feet in size. These are imported from the UK and approved by BAR (British Association of Removers). Having the exclusive use of a crate means that your items are safe and will not become confused with other things being stored in the same location.
DELIVERED TO AND PACKED AT YOUR PROPERTY
These crates can be delivered to your residence and packed and sealed in front of you. The container is then taken back to the warehouse and deposited in the storage facility. When the crate arrives at your property, there is a variety of options available. The removal company can enter your property and do a full packing service, which involves wrapping everything and boxing it up, or, for an international move, they can offer an expert wrap service for shipping. Alternatively, if you have your items ready to go, they will pack your crate safely and carefully using transit blankets and packing materials. Once everything is in, they will close the container and take it back to the warehouse
DIGITALLY-MONITORED CRATES & OVERSIZED STORAGE
Every crate that arrives at the warehouse is checked in on the computer system so that it can be monitored at any time for its exact location. Storage with Peter Morton Removals is available from just 10 euros per week for one crate. Indeed, if you have an item that is larger than the actual crate, Peter Morton Removals offers oversized storage for larger items. When we visited the facility, they had many high-value vehicles, including a Bentley, safely-stored and covered in the warehouse.
When we asked Peter Morton himself for the best advice for anyone considering a storage option, he told us, “We always suggest to our clients that they come and look at the storage facility. If you want to store your goods, you need to be very sure of where it is going and in what conditions it will be stored. We welcome potential customers to come and view our facility, so you can see for yourself and be confident in your decision to use us”.
